CMDR Airman_Dan's Log, 29th May 3307

I realized the moment I landed at the Dempsey, that the Void would not be explored as I had planned. It continued sprawling into that darkened expanse of which I had only a fleeting glimpse. I have tried to speculate where it might lead me, but I must admit, however: such conjecture is futile. Still, the question of what secrets these depths might hold are unsettling to me. I know that my equipment would only serve to strand me, and so I turn back, realizing that for certain, my ending has not yet been written.
